TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made on www.iknowmydog.be.

1. Products and services

We choose every product with care so your dog gets what fits them best.

We sell curated dog boxes through one-time purchases. Each box is personalised based on the information you provide about your dog.

Product images are illustrative. Final product choices depend on expert curation, availability, and the unique dog profile you submit.

Our focus is on quality, not quantity. Each box is curated based on what your dog may benefit from most, according to the profile you share. Not a fixed number of items or a set retail value.

 

2. Prices and payments

All prices include VAT. Payment is required at checkout.

We use Shopify Payments to process all payments.

Accepted payment methods: Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Shop Pay, PayPal Express, and Google Pay.

 

3. Shipping

We aim to ship all orders promptly, but are not liable for delays caused by supplier shortages, health issues, or unexpected disruptions in fulfilment. As a solo-operated business, we reserve the right to extend shipping times in the event of such circumstances. Any delay will be communicated transparently.

 

4. Right of withdrawal

You can return your order within 14 days, but only if everything is still new, sealed, and complete. You have the legal right to withdraw your order within 14 calendar days from the day after delivery.

To be eligible for a refund, products must be returned in original condition, with all items complete and unopened.

You may inspect the contents of the box, but individual products that have been opened, used, or are not suitable for resale cannot be refunded for hygiene and safety reasons.

Boxes that were personalised based on your dog profile may be excluded from full refunds if items have been opened or used.

If you’re not satisfied with one or more items, please contact us within 7 days. We’ll review your feedback and may offer a goodwill solution such as a future box improvement, bonus item, or partial compensation.

However, dissatisfaction with product choices that reflect the provided dog profile does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Return shipping is at your expense unless otherwise agreed.

If a product didn’t suit your dog, we encourage you to:

  • Donate it to a local shelter
  • Or send it to us at your own cost, and we will forward it to one of our shelter partners

We are working on a dedicated donation and recycling program in the future.

 

5. How to return

Send an email to hello@iknowmydog.be within 14 days of receiving your order.

Include your name and order number.

We’ll provide return instructions.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days after we receive and inspect the returned items.

 

6. Customer responsibilities

You must provide accurate and complete information about your dog (e.g. breed, age, allergies, behavior traits).

This is essential for safe product selection and personalisation.

We are not liable for incorrect curation caused by missing or inaccurate data.

 

7. Liability

All toys, treats, and consumables must be used under adult supervision.

We are not liable for:

  • Allergic reactions caused by undeclared sensitivities
  • Incorrect use of any product
  • Damage caused by unsupervised use

 

8. Future subscriptions

When subscriptions launch, they will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 3 days before the next billing date.

You’ll be able to pause or cancel anytime via your customer portal.

Separate subscription terms will apply.

 

9. Governing law

Belgian law applies to all transactions.

Disputes are handled by the courts of Gent, Belgium.
